Chronos Trailer

Here is an intriguing trailer shown at today’s Oculus presentation for an Oculus Rift game called Chronos. It’s about a labyrinth that only opens once a year, and the game takes place over the course of the life of a man who makes several attempts to finish it. His age has an effect on his abilities–for instance, when he is young, he is stronger and faster, but when he is old, he must rely more on his wit and magic. I must say it looks really pretty, and I’d be impressed if they managed to get this to run at the required 90 frames per second. I’m also not entirely sure how third-person would work in VR, but perhaps that’s because I’ve never actually put on the headset. (Though I can’t wait to get my hands on one!)
